Finnius congratulates Quantoz Payments

Finnius assisted Quantoz Payments (Quantoz) with its authorization as an e-money institution. Quantoz now takes an important next step by launching two stablecoins: the EURQ and the USDQ. Both crypto-assets are linked one on one to a fiduciary currency (the euro and US dollar respectively). Due to the characteristics of the EURQ and USDQ, these stablecoins qualify as e-money tokens under MiCAR.

Based on its e-money license, Quantoz may issue stablecoins provided these meet the requirements with respect to e-money tokens as laid down in the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR). The EURQ and USDQ are in accordance with the strict rules under MiCAR. Finnius congratulates team Quantoz with achieving this impressive milestone.
