Publication Final Parliamentary Report on the Act on the Remuneration Policy of Financial Undertakings

A Dutch senate committee on financial affairs has published its final report concerning the draft Act on the Remuneration Policy of Financial Undertakings on January 20^th 2015. The report comes to the conclusion that the public reading of the draft bill has been satisfactory. The bill will now pass on the 27^th of January without any further voting rounds or parliamentary debate. The committee has also noted the intention to invite the minister of finance for a consultation after parliamentary recess in the summer of 2015 concerning certain aspects of the Act to ensure close monitoring on the effects of the Act and any further developments on the European level. This however does not have any consequences for the entry into force of the Act. After passing of the bill on the 27^th of January, the Act may enter into force within one or two months.
