Romy de Galan
Associate
Romy is an attorney in Finnius’ advisory practice. She advises national and international companies and financial institutions on a wide range of financial regulatory issues, particularly in the areas of asset management, financial services, and insurance. Due to her background in corporate law, she has a broad interest in the intersections between financial regulatory law, corporate law, and civil law. As a result, she also possesses expertise in governance issues and mergers and acquisitions within the financial sector.
Romy earned a Master’s degree in Financial Law and a Master’s degree in Corporate Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. During her studies, she held various committee and board positions.
Before joining Finnius, Romy worked as an attorney in the Financial Regulatory practice at Houthoff.
