Finnius congratulates Amdax with MiCAR CASP licence

Amdax B.V. (Amdax) has obtained a licence from the AFM for the provision of crypto-asset services in accordance with the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR). This European framework provides rules for the issuance of crypto-assets and the provision of crypto-asset services. Under MiCAR, no fewer than ten crypto-asset services are regulated, meaning this regulatory framework has significant impact on the crypto market. Crypto-asset service providers must apply for authorisation from the AFM and comply with ongoing regulation. The services that Amdax is permitted to provide under its MiCAR licence in respect of crypto-assets includes custody services, execution of orders, portfolio management and transfer services. This represents a broad range of services and constitutes a significant milestone for Amdax.
