What’s going on in the investment fund industry in the Netherlands?

Rosemarijn Labeur and Tim de Wit have contributed to the International Asset Management & Investment Funds Review 2020/21 (link), in which they discuss three highlights for the Dutch investment fund industry:

  1. Dutch sub-threshold regime open to other Member States?
  2. Dutch licensed fund managers are not for rent
  3. Brexit, Dutch NPPR and reverse solicitation

Please see the following link for the Dutch contribution of Rosemarijn and Tim. Rosemarijn and Tim have deep knowledge of the Dutch financial regulatory framework and have vast experience in assisting fund managers with market entry into the Dutch market. They also assist market parties in obtaining the relevant licenses from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), such as pursuant to the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) and the Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities Directive (UCITS).

If you have any questions in relation to the highlights, or in relation to setting up a management company in the Netherlands, feel free to contact Rosemarijn or Tim.
